Faith Community Donation Opportunities
Grow in mission with your members. Your congregation can impact our community and show the power of the church at work in the name of God.  Here's how:

• Encourage your congregation to dedicate a portion of your annual mission budget to Habitat.
• Make regular donations or collect special Habitat for Humanity offerings. 
• Adopt a project. Fund a portion of the project, like flooring or plumbing. Call us at (402) 477-9184, or email us to discuss all your options.
• Join Building on Faith, an annual week-long celebration of church partnerships and a worldwide sermon of God’s love. During this week, local Habitat affiliates and their church partners host building events and celebrations. Form faith partnerships with other congregations to sponsor and build a house together or sponsor a build individually.
• Donate materials.  Encourage church and youth groups to find interesting and inventive ways to fund items on the Habitat Wish List. For ideas on how to engage youth, click here.
• Tithe. Set aside one-tenth of regular donations for local Habitat projects. The tithe funds can be used to build Habitat houses locally, nationally, and/or internationally.

Business Community Donation Opportunities
Invest in your company and employees by investing in our community. In return you will receive a wealth of benefits, including public relations, tax deductions and a positive effect on company morale.  Here's how:

• Sponsor a home build wholly or in partnership with other businesses
• Donate tools and building materials. Check our monthly Wish List needs. 
• Adopt a project.  Fund a portion of the building process (paint, flooring, plumbing, etc.) Call us at (402) 477-9184, or email us to discuss all your options.
• Provide employee charitable giving options.  Partner with the Community Services Fund, a charitable payroll employee deduction plan that supports 29 non-profits, including the Lincoln/Lancaster Habitat for Humanity.  Similar to the United Way, the plan allows employees to designate a portion of their salary to charity through regular payroll deductions.
• Match employee contributions.
• Donate company stocks
• Sponsor fun and inventive activities to raise funds at company events or in the community for Habitat like walk-a-thons, card tournaments, and golf outings.
• Consider Habitat for company community grants and financial awards

Special Sponsorships 
Sponsor or co-sponsor a special project in line with your interests or skills.  Friends of Habitat who participate in home sponsorships become members of our contributor societies and receive attention as our best donors. Each year we invite you to participate in home dedications, wall raising ceremonies, ground-breakings and kickoff events. Each sponsor receives a certificate announcing his/her partnership. Each sponsor will also be included in Habitat's Public Relations and Marketing plans, depending on your level of sponsorship.

A recent sponsorhip opportunity was our Creature Comforts Project. Creaure Comforts involved art and construction to build beautiful birdhouses for auction or donation with all proceeds going to the Lincoln Lancaster County Habitat for Humanity. Organizations and Individuals Donation Opportunities
Improve your life by improving our community.  You or your organization will have a meaningful experience and receive a number of reciprocal benefits such as recognition and a positive effect on your group's morale, as well as tax deductions. Here's how:

• Consider Habitat for your organization’s grants and financial awards
• Individual planned giving.  Designate Habitat as a bequest in your final planning.
• Give the gift that builds.  Honor a loved one with a memorial gift.
• Donate stocks and/or bonds.
• Donate land.
