We are partnering with Thrivent Financial to make a difference for a local family. Habitat Lincoln, Thrivent Financial and area churches work alongside future homeowners on the construction of their home. 

Your congregation can get involved by: 

• Becoming a sponsor
• Pledging a hard hat offering
• Being a Hospitality Volunteer (providing lunch or morning snack)
• Promote Faith Build to your congregation
  • Volunteer on the build site
  • Host a Faith Build Display in your lobby
  • Purchase a Blessing Board
  • Thrivent Action Team/Choice Dollars
• Host a Habitat Lincoln guest speaker

Houses for Change
Houses for Change is a fun, interactive way for youth (of all ages) to get involved in raising funds for Faith Build. Each day, your child deposits change as they learn about their home and what other children might not have when living in poverty housing in their community. When your bank is full, or the calendar is over, return the bank to your church. 

Hard Hat Offering
Make your Habitat offering one to remember by using one of our Habitat Lincoln hard hats! Your congregation members will be inspired to give as they are passing the hard hats among each other. 

Blessing Board
Blessing boards are a unique, spiritual way to involve your whole congregation and leave a lasting memory with the homeowner. Purchase one of the wall studs to be used in the Faith Build to be displayed in your lobby. Members of your congregation can write Bible verses, prayers, well wishes, artwork or just sign their names. We'll collect the Blessing Board before our wall raising ceremony to be included in the home.
