Ways to get involved include:

Volunteer

• Provide construction site labor.  All skill levels are welcome.  What you don't know we'll teach you.  Learn more about what to expect at the job site and check current build schedule.
• Adopt a project. Provide labor for a specific project (painting, planting, etc.)
• Provide lunch at the job site, or serve as site hosts.  Learn more about providing food, or serving as hosts at the job site.
• A Brush With Kindness. Help Habitat homeowners maintain the exteriors of their homes with painting, minor exterior repairs, landscaping, weatherization and exterior clean-up. To ensure that families live in safe and well-maintained homes, this program  is designed to revitalize the appearance of the neighborhood, encourage connections within the community, and most importantly, help preserve affordable housing stock.
• Serve on Habitat committees. Individuals are always needed to help with acquiring land, finding and selecting qualified homeowner applicants, nurturing family partners, recruiting church support and more
• Volunteer to work in the Lincoln Habitat office, helping with office tasks.

Raise Awareness

• Learn how working with Habitat can fulfill your personal or organizational goals. Invite a Habitat representative to speak to your group or organization or answer any personal questions you have.
• Provide information about Habitat in your meetings and organizational newsletters, especially volunteer and fundraising opportunities.  Read news about us.
• Talk about Habitat to your friends and neighbors and invite them to get involved in Habitat's mission with you. 
• Engage youth in community service. Age appropriate ideas for youth.
• Share our on-line or printed newsletter with others.  Request that you or your organization be added to our mailing list.
